Don't worry, try one of these

Why do we love this case?

That’s not to say they’re short on quality or complexity – far from it! But to sit there alone while pondering these would be missing the point. They’re built for fun, for fabulous feeds with friends, for big belly-laughs in the best of company. And wherever these wines are, fun times are never far. Cheers to that, mofo!

1x Clairault Wines Estate Chardonnay 2022

White — Chardonnay

Margaret River — Australia

To say this wine is a firecracker with those beautiful flinty notes wafting from the glass would be just the beginning. The real fire-cracking moment for this wine comes from the zesty, focused and tense acidity that drives right across your palate while oozing layers of fresh apple, pears, citrus and grapefruit. Gorgeous top notes of white flowers also draw you in complimented with beautiful French oak. A magnificent rendition from a region hitting new heights time and time again. This will age beautifully, if you've got the patience.

1x Domaine Thevenard Macon-Village Chardonnay 2022

White — Chardonnay

Burgundy — France

For those looking to take the leap into the world of French wine, this is perfect starting point. Rich, concentrated and well oaked, this is everything white Burgundy should be - without taking drinkers of classic Australian chardy too far out of their comfort zone. A great wine. After over half a century of cultivating high-quality grapes for big name producers in the Mâcon area of Burgundy, Domaine Thevernard have finally decided to go out on their own and start producing this nectar-of-the-gods from start to finish. And we are completely stoked with their decision. This chardonnay displays everything that makes white Burgundy some of the most sought-after wine on the planet - concentration, fruit purity and a generous, luxurious mouthfeel. The wonderful natural acid brings structure and freshness to this gorgeous drop and rounds out a lengthy, satisfying finish. Deeply French yet strangely familiar.

You'd pay $65 full price.

1x Idi Di Marzo Ore Del Mare Pecorino 2024

White — Other White

Abruzzo — Italy

This wine feels as though it was made out of instinct, that's a good thing by the way, a really good thing. Now it goes without saying that a lot of hard work and plenty of know-how goes into creating gorgeous white wines like this, but we're talking about how this one feels, and, In a word, it feels effortless. A clean, versatile, and ultimately generous wine with racy acid and a structured, textural finish. We're saving a bottle to have with prawn pasta but something tells us this little number could handle anything from a curry to a full-blown Mexican feast. Nachos mightn't have been what the Italian winemakers had in mind, but it's your party, you can eat nachos if you want to.

You'd pay $50 full price.

Frequently Asked Questions

This collection is specifically curated for social occasions rather than solitary contemplation. The diverse range of varietals - from crisp Sauvignon Blanc to rich Chardonnay - ensures there's something to complement every dish and please every palate at your gathering. With wines spanning different regions and styles, you'll have the perfect bottle whether you're serving fresh seafood, creamy pasta, or spicy Asian cuisine.

The pack offers a beautiful spectrum from light, zesty wines like Sauvignon Blanc with citrus and passionfruit notes, to medium-bodied options like Pinot Gris and Pinot Grigio, through to fuller styles like Chardonnay with creamy, nutty characteristics. This variety means you can progress through different wine styles during a meal, starting with crisp aperitifs and moving to richer wines with heartier courses. The Italian Pecorino adds an interesting Mediterranean dimension with its mineral complexity.

The flavour profile spanning from citrus and apple to honeysuckle and almond creates endless pairing possibilities. The Sauvignon Blanc excels with fresh oysters and goat cheese, while the Chardonnay's creamy, lanolin notes make it perfect for roasted chicken or lobster thermidor. The Pinot Grigio and Pinot Gris bridge the gap beautifully with Asian fusion dishes, and the Pecorino's minerality pairs wonderfully with Mediterranean seafood and herb-crusted fish.

Absolutely - this collection features wines from both iconic established wineries and boutique producers, including Five Red Star Halliday rated wineries. Clairault from Margaret River and Austin's from Western Australia represent premium Australian winemaking, while Domaine Thevenard brings French Burgundian expertise to Macon-Village Chardonnay. The mix of traditional and emerging producers ensures you're getting both time-tested quality and exciting innovation in each bottle.

Most of these whites are best served chilled between 8-12°C, though the richer Chardonnays can handle slightly warmer temperatures to showcase their complexity. The diverse vintage range means some bottles are ready to drink now for immediate enjoyment, while others like the Burgundian Chardonnay can benefit from short-term cellaring. Store them in a cool, dark place and consider opening the more structured wines like Chardonnay 30 minutes before serving to allow their flavours to fully develop.
