Why do we love this wine?
Rich, ripe and smoother than a Barry White song. This wine's been seriously cared for, hand picked, cold soaked before fermentation, to build complexity in the fruit, then aged in oak for 18-24 months, again, complexity. A cleverly crafted wine that balances all out attack and subtle beauty in a masterful fashion. Dark cherries and plums with chocolatey oak notes and a hint of allspice, this wine taste exactly how you'd expect a premium Barossa wine to taste and can really hold its own against some of the real heavy-hitters of the region. Yes, this is a wine the looks fantastic but, as with most things, it's what's on the inside of the bottle that counts.

Ray Jordan
Bursts with all manner of dark ripe berry characters from the first take on the nose through to the opulent concentrated palate. It’s a generous wine with excellent structure. Dark chocolate and plum with spices and a little black pepper lift add to the complexity and appeal. Strikes a really good oak balance to the fruit. - Ray Jordan, Wine Pilot
